THOUGHTS: Forest is big, bald, and a kindergarten teacher. I love that! It’s an unusual thing for someone like this. Conrad is dad to Lizzie, his sister’s daughter. Because of past experiences, he’s afraid of big guys, but has to overcome his fear for Lizzie’s sake. What he should be afraid of is the deranged man he works with. Conrad and Forest get to know each other better – thanks to Conrad’s mom and Lizzie. As they grow closer, they realize that something has to change or Forest may lose his job. Also, Conrad discovers that his coworker is more dangerous than they thought and puts his life in jeopardy. This is a hot contemporary romance that has a soft level of danger. It ends in a HEA which is great for this type of book.
